Children drinking their first glass of clean, clear water.
The Problem
Worldwide waterborne disease is the third leading killer of children under 5.
Women and children around the globe spend 200 million hours each day to collect tainted water for their homes, which too often, makes them and their family's sick.
Women and children (mainly the girl children) walk once or twice per day to get water
Global Water Works, through virtual connections, worked with Pastors in Kenya and Uganda to provide Rainwater Harvesting Systems for their church communities. To date, providing clean water for over 2,100 men women and children.
A Viable Solution
Once funded, at an average cost of $4,730 each, the systems are normally installed within 10 days, and provide many years of clean water.
We have 8 churches, which include 2,600 men women and children, waiting to install the systems. We are seeking donations to fund all or any part of the $37,840 we will need to address these eight.
